This includes a discussion of Hume’s argument against miracles and an analysis of the likelihood of the Resurrection. For the book review I take a look at Richard Swinburne’s book “Was Jesus God?”

In a debate with Tom Wanchick, Richard Carrier argues that the universe’s age and general inhospitality to life (since most of the universe is comprised of radiation-filled vacuum, black holes, and countless dead worlds) is better explained by metaphysical naturalism than theism. Can theism explain this?
