7. Special Edition- Critique of 'The God Delusion'
Click here to hear episode #7.
Richard Dawkins has recently emerged as an extremely popular and influential atheist. His book The God Delusion was a bestseller and helped confirm Dawkins as one of the leading voices of atheism. This podcast contains a detailed critique of his book.
For the book reviews I take a look at The Case for a Creator by Lee Strobel and Atheism: The Case against God by George H. Smith. For the audience question, I briefly discuss the reasons I have named the website and the podcast the “Skeptical” Christian.

I really like your podcasts and I think you are doing a great job. I myself am being called into the area of Christian Apologetics. I did however want to make one comment about your critique of “The God delusion”. It was a great podcast however, when you were talking about how Dawkins said that there is a possiblity that we find more evidence for his case through a scietific find in physics such as darwinian evolution for biology (I’m paraphrasing because I don’t remember word for word). I know that you refuted this, however I felt you should have adressed the fact that “darwinian evolution” is bad science in itself. Creationists are really exposing some of the claims that darwinian evolution makes. I know that you are a student of William Lane Craigs work, whom I admire very much, so I assume you believe in an old earth and the big bang as does Dr. Craig. That being said I would think you still do not believe in darwinian evolution. I just thought you should have adressed this a bit more. Just my opinion. Your doing a great job brother. Continue to do the good work for His kingdom. God Bless!

(This is a question for your next podcast): Do the digits of pi prove that an actual infinite is possible?
