George Smith’s book is commonly considered to be one of the best and most influential recent atheistic treatises. Nevertheless, Smith’s argumentation is marred with flaws, and his objections to Christianity are generally emotional appeals. In this series of essays, I offer a substantive critique of Smith’s work.
